How often should I clean my puppy's crate and bedding?

Beyond accidents, a weekly wash of bedding and a wipe down of the crate tray keeps the space fresh and comfortable, which also makes the crate a more appealing place for the puppy to want to settle.

Keep a spare set of bedding on hand specifically so a soiled blanket can be swapped out immediately rather than left in the crate until laundry day, or the puppy stripped of bedding entirely for hours while you wait for a wash cycle to finish.
