Responsible breeders screen kneecaps, use available DNA tests and check eyes before breeding.

Keep your TFT lean, protect it from falls and provide regular dental care. See a vet if your dog skips or holds up a hind leg, bleeds for a long time after a small cut, develops a swelling at the front of the neck, or shows a red, cloudy or painful eye.
