A practical grooming routine for the Boston Terrier: coat care, baths, nails and ears.
Grooming is refreshingly easy. A rubber curry mitt once a week lifts dead hair and spreads skin oils, and a bath every month or two keeps the coat fresh. Shedding is light but steady all year.
The face needs more attention than the coat. Wipe around the eyes daily if tear staining builds up, and check the eyes for redness or squinting. Clean the ears every week or two, trim nails every 3 to 4 weeks, and brush teeth several times a week, because crowded teeth in a short jaw trap food easily.
