Training a Rhodesian Ridgeback: what works and what to expect

Focus on recall, loose-lead walking and polite behavior in the kitchen, and socialize widely from puppyhood so natural reserve with strangers stays calm rather than suspicious. Many owners say their Ridgeback only truly settled at around 3 years old.
