Puppies grow steadily and reach adult height at about 12 months, then fill out through the chest until 15 to 18 months. A typical puppy weighs around 7 to 10 kg (15 to 22 lb) at 12 weeks and 15 to 18 kg (33 to 40 lb) at 6 months, with females on the lighter side.
Resist the urge to start serious running early. Most mushers and vets suggest waiting until growth plates close, at around 12 to 14 months, before regular jogging or pulling. Until then, free play on soft ground, short loose-lead walks and getting used to a harness with no weight behind it are plenty. A growing puppy that limps, even briefly, should be checked rather than exercised through it.
