How fast a Goldendoodle puppy grows, illustrative weight estimates and the limits of predicting adult size.
Standard Goldendoodles usually reach adult height between 12 and 15 months and continue filling out until about 18 months. Minis generally finish growing earlier, around 10 to 12 months. The best guide to adult size is the weight of both parents rather than any online chart, especially with early-generation crosses.
Between about six and twelve months, the soft puppy coat gives way to the adult coat, and mats can form almost overnight. Increase brushing during this phase and consider more frequent grooming appointments. Keep puppies lean and avoid long runs or repetitive jumping until growth plates close.
