Miniature Bull Terrier feeding guide: how much and how often
Daily calories, portions by age and practical feeding tips for the Miniature Bull Terrier.
An adult weighing 12 kg (26 lb) usually needs about 160 to 200 g of dry food a day, around 1.75 to 2.25 cups, divided into two meals. The breed is muscular, and a fit Mini Bull should have a visible waist and ribs you can feel under a thin layer of muscle.
Most are enthusiastic eaters and some guard their food. Feed in a quiet corner, give each dog in the house its own space, and never let children reach into the bowl. A heavy, non-tip bowl is wise, because a determined Mini Bull can flip a light plastic dish across the floor.
Some owners use food puzzles or scatter feeding for part of the daily ration, which turns a two-minute meal into twenty minutes of useful work. For a breed prone to boredom, that is one of the easiest enrichment wins.
