How much exercise does a Miniature Bull Terrier need?

Daily exercise minutes, the activities a Miniature Bull Terrier enjoys and signs of too much or too little.

Aim for 60 minutes of activity daily, mixing walks with play. Tug, flirt poles, fetch with sturdy toys and structured training all suit the breed. They are powerful for their size, so a well-fitted harness gives better control than a collar on walks.

Signs of under-exercise are hard to miss: chewed furniture, obsessive behaviors, pestering and rough play. Over-exercise in young dogs shows as stiffness or reluctance to get up. Off-lead time is best in securely fenced areas, as prey drive and selective hearing combine badly with open parks.
