American Bully grooming: brushing, bathing and shedding
A practical grooming routine for the American Bully: coat care, baths, nails and ears.
Grooming is the easy part of Bully ownership. Brush weekly with a rubber mitt to lift dead hair and spread skin oils, and bathe every month or two. Shedding is light to moderate. Some Bullies have sensitive skin, so choose a gentle shampoo and rinse thoroughly.
Clean any facial folds regularly and dry them well. Check ears and paws weekly, and trim nails every three to four weeks, because a heavy dog on long nails puts extra strain on its toes. Report skin redness, persistent itching or recurring spots to your vet.
