Manchester Terrier grooming: brushing, bathing and shedding
A practical grooming routine for the Manchester Terrier: coat care, baths, nails and ears.
About as easy as grooming gets: a weekly wipe with a rubber mitt or a damp cloth keeps the coat gleaming. Shedding is light, baths are rarely needed, and the breed is known for having very little doggy smell.
Nails need trimming every 2 to 3 weeks, because they grow quickly and the neat, compact feet splay if nails get long. Brush teeth several times a week, since small breeds build tartar fast. Check the skin for small cuts and the ears for dirt once a week.
