How much exercise does a Miniature Pinscher need?
Daily exercise minutes, the activities a Miniature Pinscher enjoys and signs of too much or too little.
Around 45 to 60 minutes of activity a day suits most adults, including two walks and several short play sessions. Min Pins love games that involve chasing, digging and searching, such as flirt poles, hide and seek with toys, and scent games in the garden. Many also enjoy agility, where their speed and quick turns shine.
Always walk a Min Pin on a harness or well-fitted collar and lead in open spaces. Their prey drive is strong, and a fleeing squirrel can override any recall. A tired Min Pin sleeps soundly, while one that is under-stimulated tends to bark, chew and invent its own entertainment, such as shredding cushions or excavating flower beds.
