Min Pin puppies grow quickly and usually reach adult size around 9 to 12 months. By 16 weeks many already weigh around half their adult weight. Adolescence, from about 5 to 12 months, brings a jump in energy and boundary testing.
Their long legs and bold attitude make them prone to injuries from jumping off furniture or out of arms. Use ramps where practical and avoid encouraging high jumps until growth is complete. If your puppy suddenly carries a back leg or skips when trotting, ask your vet to check its knees and hips.
