Tibetan Terrier puppy growth: milestones and weight estimates
How fast a Tibetan Terrier puppy grows, illustrative weight estimates and the limits of predicting adult size.
Tibetan Terriers grow at a moderate pace, reaching adult height around 10 to 12 months and filling out until about 15 months. The big developmental milestone is the coat change, typically between 9 and 18 months, when the puppy coat gives way to the adult double coat.
During that change, mats can form overnight, especially behind the ears and in the armpits. Brush daily if you can, and do not be shy about asking a groomer to help. Watch for any lameness in growing dogs, and have it checked if it lasts more than a day or two.
