How much exercise does a Tibetan Terrier need?

Daily exercise minutes, the activities a Tibetan Terrier enjoys and signs of too much or too little.

An hour a day of varied activity suits most adults, including a longer walk and some free play in a fenced area. Tibetan Terriers love to jump and explore uneven ground, and they often enjoy agility, hiking and snowy days far more than hot summer afternoons.

They adapt to less exercise better than many working breeds, but a bored Tibetan can become barky or restless. Avoid long hot walks, as the dense coat traps heat. Heavy panting, lagging behind and seeking shade are signs to stop and rest in a cool place.
