Training a Pomsky: what works and what to expect

Pomskies are intelligent but can be stubborn, combining the Pomeranian's confidence with the Husky's independence. Short, fun, reward-based training sessions work best. Harsh methods tend to backfire and make them less cooperative.

Common challenges include barking, howling, pulling on the lead, escaping and house training. Start socialization early with people, children and other dogs. Teach a solid recall with a long line, and give puzzle toys and training games to keep their busy minds occupied. Consistent routines help a lot.
