How much exercise does a Cesky Terrier need?
Daily exercise minutes, the activities a Cesky Terrier enjoys and signs of too much or too little.
Most adult Ceskys are content with 45 to 60 minutes a day, split between walks and play. Ceskys enjoy scent games, earthdog trials, tunnels and short bursts of chasing a toy. They adapt well to city life, provided their brains get some work too.
Like most terriers they dig and chase, so a secure garden and a lead near roads matter. Under-exercised Ceskys may bark, dig or chew, while overdoing it on hot days can bring heavy panting and slowing down. If your dog is weak, stumbling or cannot settle after rest, contact a vet.
