Cockapoo puppies usually reach adult height at around 8 to 10 months and full weight at about 12 months, with larger crosses taking a little longer. Weight predictions are rough, because each litter mixes two breeds; the parents' weights are the best guide.
The adult coat grows in between about 7 and 12 months, and this is when many owners first meet serious mats. Brush and comb daily through the coat change and consider a shorter trim to make life easier. Start handling paws, ears and face from the first week at home, and book short, positive puppy visits at a groomer. See your vet if you notice head shaking, ear odor or scratching at the ears.
