Maltipoo puppies grow quickly and usually reach adult size by 10 to 12 months. Adult size depends on the Poodle parent: Toy Poodle crosses are often 2 to 5 kg, while Miniature Poodle crosses may reach 5 to 9 kg.
Small puppies can be fragile, so avoid jumping from furniture and handle gently. Feed small, frequent meals to young puppies, since toy-sized puppies can run low on energy between meals. Weakness, trembling or unusual sleepiness in a young puppy should be checked by a vet urgently.
