How much exercise does a Tibetan Mastiff need?
Daily exercise minutes, the activities a Tibetan Mastiff enjoys and signs of too much or too little.
An adult TM usually needs 45 to 60 minutes of moderate exercise a day, such as leisurely walks and time to wander a secure, well-fenced yard. They are not built for endurance running and often prefer to walk at their own pace, stopping to survey the area.
Heat is a real limit. On warm days, walk early or late, provide shade and water, and watch for heavy panting or lying down in the shade and refusing to move. Under-exercised TMs can become bored and destructive, but the bigger need is a safe space to patrol and plenty of calm, predictable routine.
