How much exercise does a Tibetan Spaniel need?
Daily exercise minutes, the activities a Tibetan Spaniel enjoys and signs of too much or too little.
Half an hour to 45 minutes of daily walking and play is plenty for most adults. Tibbies enjoy exploring new routes, sniffing and climbing low walls, and many like short bursts of chase in the garden. They are not built for long runs or jogging.
Heat is the thing to watch. The slightly shortened face and thick coat make hot, humid days hard, so walk early and late in summer and keep outings short. In cold, dry weather they are much happier. A Tibbie that lies flat and pants heavily after a short walk has done enough.
